This week the subject for Illustration Friday is "Foggy". I've always loved doing mushrooms and thought a swirly fog may be fun. I painted this with acrylics, then put a layer of clear packing tape over the top before painting on the fog. Then I scratched off to give the texture. This was my first time using this very interesting technique

It's a brave thing to do, creating a work then doing something to it as an overlay which may or may not work, isn't it? Lucky it worked!
