Poof

The theme for Watercolor Wednesday this week was "Magic Wand".
I drew a blank (no pun intended). I just couldn't get a picture in my head. The next theme comes out tomorrow so I was feeling a bit of pressure to produce something. I decided to just do a wand in action. So that's what I did. It worked up pretty quickly, and then wouldn't you know it, I started getting ideas right and left. I guess that shows it's always good to at least start doing SOME kind of art when you reach a block. It will get the juices flowing again.

Hi Linda,
I like your entry for Poof!
Thanks for your kind comments on my IF entry. I used Prismacolor pencils on paper made for acrylic paint. It has a sort of linen texture to it. I usually use bristol board. The textured paper was just a fun experiment. My favorite trick with color pencil is using the Prismacolor colorless blender over almost everything. My favorite medium used to be watercolor until I got a good set of Prismacolors. I still do watercolor on occasion. And yes, I'm a "Sister" I think I figured out you were too, when I visited a while back. Nice to meet you.

Sister Snow :)
